The Screen Use & Well-Being Committee focuses on sharing science-backed research and opportunities to learn more about the ever-changing digital world and how it affects children and families. The committee’s goals include: seminars on child-internet safety and exposure, increasing the popularity of the "Wait Til Eighth" Pledge with Muscota families, and influencing how and when technology is utilized in the classroom at Muscota.
health and wellness
The Health & Wellness Committee focuses on engaging the community in activities and practices that promote mental and physical health and well-being. The committee’s goals include: seminars on mental health and stress management, cooking classes, community yoga night, running club, etc.
cultural moments
The Cultural Moments Committee’s mission is to elevate, support, and celebrate the diverse cultures and identities represented in our Muscota community. The committee aims to foster an equitable and inclusive school environment by infusing cultural awareness, representation, and celebration into school events and learning experiences. The committee collaborates with the school administration and PA to enhance existing multicultural programming by providing cultural awareness, resources, and workshops and community building opportunities for families, as well as supporting equity and inclusion conversations with the school community.
school construction and recess

The School Construction & Advocacy Committee advocates for the safe and transparent completion of the roof and play yard construction project at Muscota. They also support the safety of students, staff, and volunteers for outdoor recess while construction is taking place. The committee aims to connect with other school groups across the city who are advocating to ensure school construction projects are funded, timely, and responsive to community needs.
